Deep Release: Yin + Nidra

Join us to shift into the internal rhythm of winter and seek peaceful tranquility amidst seasonal challenges. In the first part of the class Sonya will lead an accessible all level Yin Yoga practice. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. In the last 20 minutes Sonya will lead a guided relaxation called Yoga Nidra. 

Yoga Nidra is a sleep-like state and is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. You body will feel like you have rested for 7 hours ~ creating total relaxation and a sense of deep release.
